The educational, social and economic environment is changing.
The Children’s Literacy Charity is committed to being part of the literacy solution. By setting up a Literacy Lab — in the school or community — we can provide individualised literacy tuition that builds skills and confidence.
We offer a range of professional services to schools to ensure the most positive literacy outcomes for pupils:
The Children’s Literacy Charity can set up a Literacy Lab within your school or community centre to become the place where our experts deliver a flexible, high-quality and impactful literacy intervention through one-to-one support.
Volunteers from The Children’s Literacy Charity can work within your school or community centre to provide top-up tuition to children and young people at risk of falling behind their peers in literacy.
Reader Leader is The Children’s Literacy Charity’s peer-mentoring scheme, delivered in schools to Year 10 pupils through high-quality training. The charity will support staff and teachers to promote this effective scheme.
The Children’s Literacy Charity can provide professional training to teaching staff, parents and community members. Our training can be tailored to your needs.
