Reading Lab Tutors (FTC) – Ellesmere Port & Coventry
We are looking for skilled Reading Lab Tutors to work a minimum of 2 days a week to deliver our Reading Lab programme in our partner schools in Ellesmere Port and Coventry.
The successful candidates will tutor small groups of primary aged children on a one-to-three basis. You will tutor 15 pupils twice a week on our 10-week catch up reading comprehension programme. Full training and induction will be provided along with ongoing support.
We are looking for applicants with experience as a teacher, tutor or higher level teaching assistant at primary age level, able to build and nurture relationships with the children and school personnel. The ability to demonstrate empathy and patience is a must along with strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, a pro-active attitude and able to work under your own initiative.
These roles are initially for two terms from September 2025 but have the potential to be extended, funding permitting. The role is 2 days pw, term time only and the rate is £105 per day. Start date will be in early September for the Autumn Term.
